As I travel all over Scotland and around the world I find ideas for a painting everywhere and in all weathers. Winter landscapes are a favourite, as well as summer landscape paintings, and old sheds on allotment plots, then towns like Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth and Dundee add variety. Holiday destinations in Australia and France helped with the creation of amazing watercolour compositions and back home I must paint Scottish lochs, mountains and villages. Glencoe with Blackrock cottage, and Isle of Skye are the artist dream with potential paintings around every corner.
