John’s allotment garden at City Road in Dundee has given him plenty of ideas for both summer and winter landscape paintings around City Road Allotment Gardens with pots, water barrels, wheelbarrows, ramshackle sheds and broken down fences adding to the artistic drama.

Sunset at Tullybaccart This view was taken from the road to Tullybaccart Farm looking across the Coupar Angus Road as it cuts through the Sidlaw Hills. This winter landscape snow scene was taken as the sun was setting giving long shadows over the blanket of deep snow. A group of pine trees in the distance added to the drama of the setting sun.
