“Pink Champagne” acrylic 21 × 16 inches

Pink Champagne was another alcoholic wedding gift, so as well as enjoying a wee drink it also made a brilliant still life painting in acrylic. So I got rewarded twice. Another great gift was the box of fantastic chocolates, so before we sat down to enjoy them, they got added to the still life display. Then I added some grapes and oranges to give different shapes and colour to the still life. Once set up on a table a lamp was brought in to add light from one side and good shadows on the other side.
