“Phalaenopsis Orchid” watercolour 14 × 10 inches

Phalaenopsis Orchid come in many colours, but at home I have three white ones so they make my favourite flower paintings. Although I have painted my white orchids many times it is easy to make them all different by changing the light source and turning them around. I use a dark background to give maximum contrast with the white petals.
