“Malt Whisky Tasting” acrylic 24 × 16 inches

Malt Whisky Tasting still life painting came about after receiving a few bottles of malt whisky gifts for a special occasion. These gifts went down very well, and also made a great still life painting for a whisky connoisseur. Again I added a light source from one side and put darks into the background to give contrast of tone. Then the still life needed a small mug for water and a whisky quaich and all placed on a flat shiny table to create reflections. This fine selection of whiskies included Glenlivet, Macallan, Tamdhu and Glenmorangie.
