“Alhambra Palace” Pastel, 19 × 15 inches

Alhambra Palace in Spain was discovered while on holiday site seeing trips. Alhambra Palace sits in an elevated position in the Spanish town of Granada with the Sierra Nevada mountains behind. This palace is one of Spain’s most visited tourist attractions. The pillars and building lit up in the mid day sun as reflected light bounced around walls, floors, ceiling and pillars. I just could not resist taking a few photos for a painting completed in pastels.
