John has always had the artist eye that finds beauty everywhere from landscapes, buildings, flowers, people and still life and needs to get captured on canvas
Landscape paintings of the Scottish Highlands, Scottish lochs, Castles, Scottish villages and towns, Isle of Skye, my favourite island, and some watercolour paintings from Australia. Most paintings are in acrylic with some oil paintings and a few in watercolour and pastel. Some of the larger paintings are perfect great impact as wall art, and several may be combined as diptych or even three together as a triptych wall art.
John paints contemporary Scottish landscape images as winter landscape paintings as well as summer landscapes.
Several have now been published as limited edition prints.

South Alloa island oil painting Size 20 × 14 inches £1000
South Alloa Island sits in the River Forth beside Alloa. It was once a working farm many years ago. With the Pentland Hills behind, it made a great view for a large wall art painting. Farms and cottages are still around, and close to the River Forth there is plenty activities on this river outside Edinburgh. A summer landscape painting in oils on canvas was created.
