John has always had the artist eye that finds beauty everywhere from landscapes, buildings, flowers, people and still life and needs to get captured on canvas
Landscape paintings of the Scottish Highlands, Scottish lochs, Castles, Scottish villages and towns, Isle of Skye, my favourite island, and some watercolour paintings from Australia. Most paintings are in acrylic with some oil paintings and a few in watercolour and pastel. Some of the larger paintings are perfect great impact as wall art, and several may be combined as diptych or even three together as a triptych wall art.
John paints contemporary Scottish landscape images as winter landscape paintings as well as summer landscapes.
Several have now been published as limited edition prints.

This landscape from Murrindal in Australia at the edge of the outback, drifts of Eucalyptus trees, and farmland spreading along the valley. Painted in oils many years ago following a 6 week holiday to Australia. As the artist I was always looking out for my next painting. I returned to Scotland with loads of photos resulting in many paintings of Australia.
