Landscape paintings of the Scottish Highlands, Scottish lochs, Castles, Scottish villages and towns, Isle of Skye, my favourite island, and some watercolour paintings from Australia. Most paintings are in acrylic with some oil paintings and a few in watercolour and pastel. Some of the larger paintings are perfect great impact as wall art, and several may be combined as diptych or even three together as a triptych wall art.
John paints contemporary Scottish landscape images as winter landscape paintings as well as summer landscapes.
Several have now been published as limited edition prints.

Autumn Colour in Benvie is an acrylic painting of the village of Benvie in Perthshire, size 20 × 16 inches and framed. Benvie is west of Dundee and was always a favourite village to paint for local artists wishing to paint outdoors on site and in art workshops. Some beautiful old cottages of great rural character surrounded by agricultural farming landscapes.
